The Deer Park Club has recently developed a sequence of award winning spaces. The areas are integrated using curved roof forms to blend three architectural forms together. With the improvement of this amenity, the Deer Park Club has offered improved functionality for current Members and the local community.

The Dome - Undercover Bowling Green

The brand new Undercover bowling green provides an all-weather all season Bowling Green to allow for major tournaments and pennant, bowls training, evening events, and corporate bowls. Entertainment events can also be held in the space. The Club is distant from residential areas and has the luxury of being able to put on live music shows.

Lounge & Cafe

The new Dome Lounge provides a separate discrete area for members to enjoy events and sports activities and integrates with the newly covered bowls green which also allows for bowls retail, hospitality and tournament management. Provides a separate members bar for pride of place and memorabilia, and to support the improving quality of sporting teams at the Deer Park Club.

The renovation includes a large outdoor lounge terrace to allow offering sporting groups al fresco hospitality.

Along with the undercover Bowls Dome, which is well located at the north entry to the Club, is a contemporary structure with a raking curved ceiling to engage with the Bowls Dome and Courtyard structures.

The venues recent courtyard renovation has seen the size increase by at least double, and now provides a large entertainment court for events, kid’s activities, music, casual dining and big screen movies.

The addition of the weatherproof state of the art big screen, certainly commands the central axis of the courtyard. A second external kids pay area and 100 seat dining area is an expansion from the busy bistro.

Polycarbonate roofing on an impressive contemporary steel frame keep the area light filled. The frame allows for attachment of effects lighting and decorations for events. Patrons can flow from various points of the Club’s new lounge and terrace, function rooms, Undercover Bowls Dome and bistro.

The renovated courtyard can be described as “the informal heart, front and centre of the venue where fun happens”
